Anthem to US Concert
Join us at Damrosch Park to hear the premiere of three new anthems written by New Yorkers as part of the Anthem to US project. The Concert is the culmination of a months-long collaborative effort with Lincoln Center to create a contemporary anthem echoing our collective hopes, struggles, and histories.

This concert celebrates music that has served as anthems of hope, peace, protest and resilience, from beloved classics like Louis Armstrong's What A Wonderful World, Simon & Garfunkel's Bridge Over Troubled Water, and George Gershwin's Summertime to Sara Bareilles’ Brave. Iconoclastic American pianist and NPR host Lara Downes brings together a group of celebrated artists from a wide range of musical backgrounds, including country singer Miko Marks, jazz vocalists Vuyo Sotashe and Theo Bleckmann, rising star violinist Amaryn Olmeda, and the award-winning Ivalas String Quartet. This joyful evening also features the world premiere of the final three anthems from the Anthem to US project.
Be a part of history and see music in the making!
