Join us for a musical journey to Africa!  Kids will see and hear the mbira, one of Africa's most ancient musical instruments, as well as shekere and several other uniquely African musical instruments.  Musician Kevin Nathaniel will perform traditional and contemporary songs from various regions of Africa and the African diaspora.  Says Kevin: "Music at its best brings us together and allows us to connect regardless of language, race, or class.  Musical instruments are tools for the building of a peaceful world and they show us something essential about the human spirit."

Recommended especially for children but older people are welcome.  Audience participation is encouraged!
