Like a book club, but for records! Join your peers to discuss albums from the Brooklyn Public Library's Vinyl Collection, starting with Songs in the Key of Life by Stevie Wonder.
Of the album, Stevie Wonder said, "Songs in the Key of Life I'm most happy about. Just the time, being alive then. To be a father and then… letting go and letting God give me the energy and strength I needed." Speaking to Rolling Stone, Elton John said, "Let me put it this way: wherever I go in the world, I always take a copy of Songs in the Key of Life. For me, it's the best album ever made, and I'm always left in awe after I listen to it." Join the conversation and let us know what you think!

All of the records we'll discuss are part of the Vinyl Collection at the Central Library. You can borrow them with your library card or listen to them at the library's listening station! Please note that all vinyl records must be checked out from and returned at the Central Library.
