PLEASE NOTE: Due to overwhelming demand and limited space and staff, not everyone that attends AARP Free Tax Help and Preparation programs can be seen on their first visit. Please be prepared to arrive early, or to have to return for another session. Those that can not be assisted on their first visit will be given priority attention in following sessions. For other tax assistance events and information, visit

All AARP free tax preparation sites for low and middle income taxpayers operate on a first come, first served basis. To file taxes electronically on a married-filing-joint tax return, both spouses must be present to sign the required forms. For a list of documents you may need to bring, visit the AARP website.

Please note: The program is intended for those who are unable to prepare their own returns, has limits on both income and complexity, and is on a first come first serve basis with a maximum of 40 returns prepared each session. The program requires the taxpayer(s) and dependents' social security cards, the taxpayer(s)' picture ID., and the presence of both spouses for a joint return.
