Join 350 BK for an art build in preperation for the Mermaid Parade. We are excited to be marching this year as the Great Pacific Garbage Patch, raising awareness about plastic pollution!
Lend your hands and we will guide folks through creating the installation as well as outfits to wear in the parade.
Show up with some (clean) upcycled plastic film, bags, bottle caps, produce netting or other light items. The more colorful the better!
350Brooklyn is a volunteer-driven group that mobilizes people to take effective local action to address the climate crisis. We are committed to pursuing solutions that both reduce climate pollution and ensure that low-income New Yorkers and environmental justice communities participate fully in the benefits the shift to renewable energy will bring.
