The holiday season is upon us. If you have a library lover in your life, then Brooklyn Public Library has the perfect gift for them. From hoodies and tote bags to scarves depicting your favorite historical architecture, supporting your library has never looked so good!

Are you lucky enough to remember the joys of using the card catalog to search for a book at the library? Fall into some book-ish nostalgia with these illustrated holiday cards--featuring a range of celebrations from Christmas to Ōmisoka, Hanukkah to Lunar New Year--as a reminder that the library is for everyone.

Add your voice to ours as Brooklyn Public Library fights for the rights of teens nationwide to read what they like, discover themselves, and form their own opinions.

How much do you stan books? Are you the type to never leave home without one (or more)? Is there a stack on your nightstand? Do you borrow the maximum allowed at BPL (50 items, by the way)? Then you need this adorable Book Hugger pin, designed by Eric Rosario.

Your love of books is second only to your love of comfortable clothes; BPL has both! Our 'Bookman' hoodie is great for year-round layering.

BPL’s ‘Bookman’ made his first appearance on the cover of the library’s 61st Annual Report issued in 1958. Years later, he still conveys a playfulness associated with the library.

Wear your love for Brooklyn Public Library on your sleeve—or looped around your wrist, to be specific!

Othmer Stained Glass Scarf in Red Spirals and Purple Flowers

Drape yourself in a scarf that captures Center for Brooklyn History's original stained glass windows, including its glowing rectangular sunroof and the Othmer Library’s crescent-shaped lunettes. These windows were most likely designed by the studio of Charles Booth (1844–1893), a stained-glass artist from Liverpool whose work referenced nature, Japanese art and more.

The perfect shirt for celebrating queer books and writers, all year round!
