📣 The Flatbush Literacy Zone Welcomes the NYLAG Mobile Legal Help Unit!

Join us at the Flatbush Library on Wednesday, July 8th from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM for free onsite legal assistance provided by the New York Legal Assistance Group (NYLAG).

The Mobile Legal Help Unit can support community members with a wide range of civil legal issues, including:

  • Housing (Landlord–Tenant only) & Foreclosure
  • Public Benefits & Disability Benefits
  • Healthcare Benefits
  • Identity Theft & Debt Management
  • Consumer Credit
  • Immigration
  • Domestic Violence
  • Divorce, Custody & Visitation, Child Support
  • Employment
  • Advance Planning

RSVP is required, but limited walk‑ins may be accepted on a first‑come, first‑served basis.

Registered individuals have 1st PRIORITY for 45 minute screening intakes. Registrations are the safe way to secure your appointment time. Walk-ups are welcome, but NOT guaranteed on the day off. Text "NYLAG" to the number 347-735-8698 to secure your time slot!
