Kids Create: Make Your Own Bit Bot!

Bit Bots is a world where kids get to bring their ideas to life by combining creative building with simple electronics. KoKo NYC Teaching Artists present kids with a challenge to spark imagination and inventive thought. Then, using primarily recycled materials (plastic bottles, cardboard, old buttons, etc), kids spend the workshop building their ideas to create off-the-wall sculptures and inventions. Simple electronic components such as LED lights and hobby motors are introduced to help kids bring their creations to life.

KOKO NYC combines Open Source’s mission of supporting socially engaged art and environmental awareness with STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) programming. KOKO offers a variety of art-based workshops for ages 5-15 that utilize technology and recycled materials to help your child to create their own unique invention.
