About Dr. Weigand:
Dr. John P. Weigand is the founder and director of audiology for Liberty Hearing Centers. Dr. Weigand has been practicing in the field of audiology with over 25 years of experience, and as a native of Queens, Dr. Weigand is a graduate of Archbishop Molloy High School and Queens College. After graduating from college, Dr. Weigand excelled at St. John’s University, completing his Master of Arts program, and furthered his education by attaining a doctorate in clinical audiology from the University of Florida. Dr. Weigand has been the chief audiologist at Downstate Medical Center since 2000 and is well recognized by the greater Brooklyn community. Additionally, Dr. Weigand is a New York state-registered hearing aid dispenser and a proud member of the American Academy of Audiology, the New York Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
