African Instruments Workshop and Performance: An Aviva and Friends Event
Join us for a musical journey to Africa! Kids will see and hear the mbira, one of Africa's most ancient musical instruments, as well as shekere and several other uniquely African musical instruments. Musician Kevin Nathaniel will perform traditional and contemporary songs from various regions of Africa and the African diaspora.
All ages are welcome. Registration is not required.
Aviva & Friends is presented in celebration of Aviva Lipsky-Karasz and her joyful spirit. Her friends and family hope you enjoy the program.
