Brooklyn, NY—Brooklyn Public Library has released its favorite books of the year. Both librarians and staff contribute to the list which includes 100 titles. With fiction and nonfiction, memoirs, poetry, graphic novels and more, there is something for every reader. A few selected titles are below. The complete list can be found here.


When you ready to checkout, make sure to use the Library’s new mobile app. You can check out books directly from your phone. In addition, you can browse the catalog, place a hold, and for the first time, read eBooks and audiobooks right from the app. Additional features allow users to renew books, view checkout history, create reading lists, and see account details for the whole family all from one device.
