The book Olu’s Dream is a springboard into imagination that follows young Olu and his teddy bear Brindle through a dream odyssey. Oluizumz (ōluisms), Evans’ long-running daily drawing project, showcases Olu and Brindle expressing the positive faces of Black History and the child in all of us. Evans’ creations and books for little ones and teens alike celebrate love and love of self, being Black and of mixed race, social justice, and community. His creativity shines for kids and dreamers.
