Designer and illustrator Matthew Sporzynski creates three-dimensional art objects using paper, cardboard and papier-mâché. On display is a cardboard menagerie of animals in addition to paper sculptures created for Brooklyn Public Library’s Summer Reading 2017.
Matthew Sporzynski is a Manhattan-based designer and illustrator. He founded Couturier de Cardboard Inc. in 1999. He creates ads, magazine visuals and retail display for fashion and cosmetics companies. Sporynski's previous work includes art for Real Simple, Town & Country, GQ, O the Oprah Magazine and more. He is a graduate of Parsons School of Design – The New School, where he is currently a member of the faculty.
