2019 Program Information

New York City’s annual Summer Meals Program, run by the New York City Department of Education and funded by the federal government, provides free meals to children and teens ages 18 and younger regardless of New York City residency. Free lunches will be served at the following 29 Brooklyn Public Library branches, Monday through Friday starting Wednesday, June 27th to Friday, August 30th. Lunches are served from 1:15pm to 2:00pm in the libraries’ meeting rooms.  Lunches will not be provided on Thursday, July 4th and Monday, August 12thClick here to view Summer Meals Flier.
