- SummaryCaption: "Revised plans for the [proposed] Brooklyn-Battery Bridge superimposed upon an aerial photograph which have been submitted to the War Department by Park Commissioner Moses and eliminate all objections cited by the army in the denial of a permit last week. Chief alteration has been the bending of the water spans to form a shallow obtuse angle with the apex at a joint anchorage on the tip of Governors Island .." Image shows Governors Island in foreground and portions of East River, Brooklyn on right, and Lower Manhattan on left.
