Interested in making zines? Welcome to Zine Clubhouse!
Zine Clubhouse is a free arts education program of Booklyn, Inc. for youth ages 9–17.
We’ll meet on the third Tuesday of each month during the school year, from 4:00–5:30 pm at the Sunset Park Library. Zine Clubhouse is a chill space for tweens to explore zinemaking at their own pace.
Zines are powerful tools for literacy, storytelling, self-expression, and community connection. A zine can be anything you imagine! Our goal is to create a safe, authentic space where young people can make their own choices about zinemaking. We’ll bring supplies and spark some creative activities. You bring your curiosity, and we’ll make it happen together.
Not ready to dive into zinemaking? No problem! Swing by during Zine Clubhouse hours to pick up a free copy of the Booklyn Abridged Education Manual and see what it’s all about!
