Worker's Rights Workshop and Drop-In Legal Clinic with NYLAG

NYLAG will be at the library to provide all those interested with legal advice and next steps for any questions they may have, and will be hosting a worker's rights information session for those seeking knowledge on how to navigate employment rights, whether it's workplace discrimination, hiring/firing, unemployment benefits, and more.

If you'd like to speak with someone at NYLAG's Employment Law Project about a specific workplace issue you're having* please bring any of the following documents (digital copies such as screenshots are fine): 

• Paystubs/any records of payments from a job
• Terminations letters
• Other communications with a boss/supervisor around a workplace issue
• If you have already submitted a complaint at a city state of federal agency, please bring a copy of what you submitted

Those interested do not have to make an appointment - it is first come first served, so limited spots are available.

The Worker's Rights Workshops will be held at the beginning and end of the clinic!
