Wikidata Day
Celebrate the 10th Birthday of Wikidata, the data science side of Wikipedia, with hands-on workshops, presentations, lightning talks and yes, cake. All experience levels welcome, and we will be particularly looking at the role of Wikidata in libraries and archives.
Wikidata Day is inspired by such past events such as the Wikipedia Day tradition in New York City. All attendees are subject to Wikimedia NYC's Code of Conduct. View the schedule of events, including an edit-a-thon documenting NYC cultural institution histories at 12:00. For workshops, please bring a laptop if you have one; otherwise, we will provide one.
