University Open Air: Climate Change in 2021: Code RED for Humanity

How can we curb human activities that cause climate change? It's no secret climate change is widespread and changing the earth's landscape at an alarming and unprecedented rate. Learn about extreme climate events, ocean acidification, and other conditions affecting every region on Earth in this course and how we can collectively and individually address the climate crisis.

Nichola Ramchurjee is a sustainability, climate change, and water conservation consultant. She is also a Biodiversity and Natural Resources specialist. She attended the University of Mysore, India earning a Ph.D. in Environmental Science. She has more than 10 years of experience researching a broad range of topics including biodiversity, natural resources, water conservation, climate change, sustainability, and data analytics. She has written about the intersection of social and environmental science and has published numerous research articles and books on the topic.
