TWEENS AGES 9-13! Join us for a conversation with SHAUNA GRANT, author of "Karen's Prize" (Babysitter's Little Sister Series), The "Mimi" Series, and "History Comics: Rosa Parks & Claudette Colvin"!  

Shauna will be here to talk about how she got into comics, and show you how to start comics of your own.

About Shauna Grant:

With a love for all things pink and magical, Shauna J. Grant is a cartoonist who creates cuteness! She is the creator of the early readers Graphic Novel series Mimi. Shauna specializes in stories that focus on emotions, empathy, and finding magic in oneself. Her diverse, bubbly, anime-inspired comics have been published by Scholastic, First Second, and IDW. Born and raised in New York City, Shauna now resides in Newburgh, NY with her magical puppy Sugarpaws, drawing comics that people of all ages can fall in love with. Her newest Graphic Novel is Baby-Sitters Little Sister: Karen’s Prize, published by Scholastic.
