Jon Samson, a native of Johannesburg, South Africa, made history as the first board-certified music therapist to win a Grammy award. He holds a master's degree in music therapy from NYU and a bachelor's degree in studio composition from SUNY Purchase. His 4th self-produced album, Ageless: Songs For The Child Archetype, won the Grammy for Best Children's Album in 2020. Samson has also won four first-place awards in the International Songwriting Competition, the John Lennon Grand Prize, and the Parents' Gold Choice award.
