McKinley Park, Meeting Room

Change Agents teen time

Be aware and empowered!

Come learn how to:

  • identify the causes, warning signs and examples of racist and sexist behaviors
  • amplify multiple perspectives and levels of social awareness around harming and helping others
  • develop culturally sensitive, effective strategies that confront bias-motivated harassment and support targeted communities

*This workshop will be led by facilitators from YWCA NYC.*

The YWCA NYC’s Girls Initiative engages female–identified and gender non-conforming youth in after school programming that empowers participants to eliminate racism and empower women and girls.

Change Agents programming is made possible with the support of Paula Silver.
