"The Shape of My Food" is a 3D art workshop where families use air-dry clay and acrylics to sculpt and paint their favorite foods while exploring identity, culture, and unity.

This program is for kids 5 and older! 

All materials are included. This program will be on the ground floor seating area of Clinton St. Baking Company.

Nancy Saleme is a Venezuelan/American visual artist, industrial textile designer, and colorist based in Brooklyn. She holds degrees worldwide, including one from The Art Students League of New York. Nancy employs various materials and techniques, creating drawings, paintings, sculptures, and public art that blend urban and natural elements. Her work engages viewers through intricate craftsmanship and transforms public spaces. Nancy has received public art commissions from museums and nonprofits, prioritizing community involvement. Her unique sense of color resonates with people of all ages. She has received awards and grants from renowned institutions and has exhibited at Museums such as the Copelouzos Family Art Museum, Athens, Greece; Museo Joaquín Arcadio Pagaza, Valle de Bravo, México; Gallery Shoshinkan Nagano, Japan; and Galería Club Empresarial Lima, Peru. Lastly, Nancy's work is featured in various collections, including NYC Health + Hospitals Arts in Medicine.
