Remix Academy is a six-week DJ workshop series teens (ages 14-19). This is an outdoor program with BPL's Techmobile, which will be stationed at the corner of Fulton Street & Malcolm X Blvd.
In this program, you will learn about topics including:
- DJ Controller Set Up
- Using Volumes & EQs
- Beat Matching
- Basic Mixing & Blending
- Creating a Set
Participants get hands-on experience using DJ controllers, microphones and professional software. The Workshops will be led by non-profit organization, Building Beats.
*We ask that participants try their best to commit to attending all 6 sessions, which meet on Thursdays at 4pm from April 28 - June 2. Space is limited and registration is required!
