The workshop will look at some “classical” fairytales and how predictable the characters and settings are. What if characters in fairytales looked more like us? What if the stories took place now and in our own city? What if the female characters didn’t always need saving, and the male characters didn’t always need to slay dragons? Workshop participants will write their own modern versions of a classical fairytale or a imagine completely new ones.
