Having a brand new baby is challenging in the best of times. It’s not always filled with joy and unconditional love as our Instagram feed might suggest, but instead with feeling overwhelmed, sleep deprivation, irritability, exhaustion and often times depression and/or anxiety. Prior to the pandemic, a reported 20% of all new and expecting mothers and 10% of new and expecting fathers experienced a perinatal mood and anxiety disorder (PMAD) otherwise known as postpartum depression. Since Covid took hold, those numbers have increased astronomically to 70% due to extended isolation, lack of social support, and managing even higher levels of stress and anxiety.

In this webinar learn about the signs and symptoms associated with PMADs for moms and dads, and most importantly - how to access help and support to feel better. Join Paige Bellenbaum, LMSW - Founding Director of The Motherhood Center, and Justin Lioi, LCSW - Brooklyn Based Dad Therapist, for a necessary conversation on mental health and parenting in a pandemic.

Please RSVP and we will send you the Zoom link one hour before the event.
