It’s often assumed that the oppression of women dates back to the mists of time, that male domination might even be hardwired into human biology. Angela SainiAngela Saini is a science journalist and Assistant Professor of Science Writing at MIT. She is the author of four books, translated into 18 languages, and her work appears in National GeographicScience, and Foreign Policy. Her bestselling 2019 book Superior: The Return of Race Science was a finalist for the LA Times Book Prize, and her latest, The Patriarchs: How Men Came to Rule, was a finalist for the Orwell Prize for Political Writing.
