Getting high this Summer or know someone who is? Join VOCAL-NY, Brooklyn Public Library’s Justice Initiatives, and NBK Essentials for an evening of harm reduction at the Greenpoint Library on June 23 from 6-7pm! Learn about the overdose crisis with a peer educator from VOCAL-NY, and get trained on how to recognize and respond to an overdose using Narcan. We’ll also have free supplies including Narcan, fentanyl test strips, and syringe, sniff, and cannabis kits.
Registration is not required but will help to estimate needed supplies.

VOCAL-NY) is a statewide grassroots membership organization that builds power among low-income people affected by HIV/AIDS, the drug war, mass incarceration, and homelessness in order to create healthy and just communities. They accomplish this through community organizing, leadership development, advocacy, direct services, participatory research and direct action.
