Kids Create: Peace Post
Come into the Park Slope Library and create a take-home craft with us!
In today's kids create, Mr Johnny will tell us about the Peace Post, an interactive customizable exhibit featuring a collection of 198 portraits of peace, environmental, and human rights advocates from every country in the world. It was created as an educational resource by Selman, the project showcases the work of over 100 global artists. We'll discuss age-appropriate peace advocates, including people who might be in our community.
Everyone will get a chance to draw their own advocates!
For kids 6 and up. Younger children (4 and up) are welcome when accompanied by an adult to help.
Masks are strongly encouraged for this program for the health and safety of our patrons and staff.
