Juneteenth Celebration: Steelband Vibes
Join BPL and Brighton Beach Library in celebrating Juneteenth.
Steelband Vibes brings ‘The Sounds of the Tropics’, showcasing the vibrant melodies of the Steelpan. Our ensemble features a blend of Caribbean genres infused with international favorites, augmented by African drums, and supported by backing tracks.
The performance will include two (2) Steelpannists, Anthony “Pra” Trebuse and Kisha “Kisha J. Jerry” Jeremiah, alongside Kairan Neptune and Kameron Neptune on drums.
This program is generously supported with a grant from New York State Assemblymember Alec Brook-Krasny.
