live music performance

Join us at the Brooklyn Heights Library to listen to the ukulele magic of the Jubilee Jammers. This promises to be a fun-filled afternoon of lively music from a wide repertoire of Beatles favorites. You’ll be singing along in no time!

The Jubilee Jammers have been together for over 6 years. They originally started as a weekly class at The St. Charles Jubilee Senior Center in Brooklyn Heights. They have since developed into a performing group and played in various schools, senior centers and libraries.

Our teacher, Beverly Closs, has taught private piano/guitar/bass lessons for over 35 years. She has also served as musical director for productions at The Heights Players and the New York Fringe Festival. She played keyboard with the rock band Third Rail. A long time Brooklyn Heights resident, she is an inspiring teacher who loves teaching ukulele!
