International Center of Photography Presents: Imaginative Storytelling with Pictures
Join us for an interactive community gallery program where children use Stereographs and RetroViewers to imagine the places depicted, including Coney Island, Niagara Falls, and Yosemite Valley. Through movement, sounds, short stories, skits, drawing, and writing, participants will create their own adventures and imagined details inspired by what they see.
Children will also connect these images to their own favorite places in New York and share what they might hear, see, feel, or discover there. Art materials will be provided for participants to bring their ideas to life.
