Bhaskar Sunkara returns to Night in the Library to offer a stirring meditation on how leftwing groups and the Democratic Party can do more to win the working class, and what role socialism may play in that process.

Bhaskar Sunkara is president of The Nation Magazine, and founder and editor of Jacobin, which he launched in 2010 as an undergraduate at George Washington University. He has written for the New York Times, the GuardianVICE, and the Washington Post. He lives in Brooklyn, New York.
