Hopi Rattle-Making Family Workshop Presented by the Brooklyn Museum
Participants will create their own rattles inspired by the contemporary Hopi rattle soon to be on display at Cortelyou Library's Community Gallery in August. Through close observation and hands-on exploration, families will engage with the artwork and learn about the materials, making process, and cultural
use of rattles within Native artistic traditions.
