History Presentation: The Battle of Brooklyn, Prior To, During and After the Revolutionary War.
Brooklyn Borough Historian Emertius, Ron Schweiger, will be giving a presentation titled The Battle of Brooklyn, Prior To, During and After the Revolutionary War."
It includes what it was like when the British and Hessians took over all of Kings County, especially the Village of Flatbush.
The program includes the history of the Village of Flatbush and the Flatbush Dutch Reformed Church and the families that worshipped there during and after the War, and the stories of many of the people who have given their names to the streets of the area.
This one hour presentation will begin at 4:30 PM on Friday June 26.
