Flatbush Library Garden: Accessible Gardening Hour
Join Flatbush Library for an hour in our backyard learning garden helping to water, tend to the plants, weed, and harvest vegetables for the community. We'll also have a variety of nature books to read and coloring pages for those who wish is sit and enjoy some time in the garden. A librarian will be on-hand to provide directions and assistance.
This program is open to patrons of all ages and abilities and specifically caters to adults with disabilities.
Please note: garden access is through our side driveway. Not all parts of the garden are wheelchair accessible.
Weather permitting. In the case of rain or high temperatures, the program will not take place.
