Every Child Counts! Ensuring a Fair and Accurate Count of New York City’s Children in the 2020 Census

Join Brooklyn Public Library, Citizen's Committee for Children of New York and CUNY Early Childhood QUALITYstarsNY for a convening of child and youth-serving professionals and other community leaders committed to a fair and accurate count of New York City’s Children in the 2020 Census.

Learning Objectives:

  • Learn about the historical undercount of children under the age of 5 in the decennial census
  • Understand why a fair and accurate count is critical to well-being of children, families and communities
  • Discover ways to incorporate 2020 Census education into programming and service delivery

All participants will receive a copy of CCC’s new databook which underscores the importance of Census data in the lives of children and families
