Center for Brooklyn History Open House (for College Students)
We invite you to join us at the newly-opened Center for Brooklyn History, former site of the Brooklyn Historical Society, and now a part of the Brooklyn Public Library System, for an open house event.
Come mix and mingle with other college students interested in researching Brooklyn’s history, and find out how to use the resources of the Center for Brooklyn History for your research, creative, and project goals.
Participants will learn more about the resources available at CBH, including the entire run of the Brooklyn Daily Eagle newspaper, 1,200 oral histories, and 2,000 historic maps, and much more.
Light refreshments will be served.
