Michael Condon, an adult services librarian at the Borough Park Branch of the Brooklyn Public Library is once again posting his class on how to use the database Ancestry.com because the Brooklyn Public Library's license to offer it for free for everyone with Brooklyn Public Library cards will expire on January 1, 2022.
After January 1, 2022 this guide can be used to help with using the database on Brooklyn Public Library computers. The database may be accessed by anyone with a physical or electronic library card.
Anyone living in New York State may apply for an eCard. A link to the application for the ecard will be in the comments.
Please note, that the video was first recorded in February 2021 when our Ancestry.com license was set to expire on April 1.
