Bookends: How Do We Win Public Power?
adults
author talks
climate and the environment
The climate emergency is unfolding all over the world, hitting those most vulnerable and least responsible hardest. How do we build the political power to beat fossil capitalism? What strategies are most likely to produce a just transition to a clean energy system, both here in NYC and the US, the belly of the capitalist system, and in Global South nations subjected to repeated rounds of extractivism.
Join Jen Chantrtanapichate, Ashley Dawson, Ryan Mann-Hamilton, Matt Huber, and Mike Menser to discuss the way forward for the climate justice movement.
