Geoffrey Cobb is a retired Brooklyn high school teacher and the author of six books on Brooklyn history. He writes for the Irish Echo newspaper and his research was featured in a front-page New York Times story on painter John Mulvany. Mr. Cobb is also a licensed tour guide who frequently leads walking tours in Greenpoint and Williamsburg.
