Film Synopsis: Shot in the boroughs of New York City, this film introduces the realities of five American Muslims in the wake of the U.S. Muslim Ban. Main characters Kobir, Aber, Mohamed, Debbie, and Imam allow Director Adam Zucker into their homes, mosques, protests and perspectives. As Islamaphobia rises in the U.S., American Muslim exposes the impact this has in our communities, and highlights how interfaith relationships have stood in solidarity.
