The Center for Black Literature, in partnership with Brooklyn Public Library, will present its 10th Poetry Café. As part of the the 16th National Black Writers Conference, “The Beautiful Struggle: Black Writers Lighting the Way,” the Poetry Café will pay tribute to the poet and educator Kamilah Aisha Moon, who passed in September 2021. Featured poets participating in the program are Ama Codjoe, Aracelis Girmay, Rachel Eliza Griffiths, Tyehimba Jess, Nina Angela Mercer, and John Murillo.
