This limited time Art Lending program has concluded. As part of the Letters for the Future exhibition at Central Library, the library provided a limited selection of art for checkout!
Letters for the Future is an exhibition and series of experimental public programs curated by Department of Transformation (DOT) in collaboration with BPL Presents, the Library's Arts and Culture team.
The show spotlights works across media and modes—paintings, videos, sculptures, performances, works on paper, books and zines—that consider text and image relationships in unexpected ways, with a focus on transformative formats for reading, writing, speaking and thinking together.
Once patrons have selected an artwork to borrow, they will be asked to schedule a time to pick it up from Central Library. When the artwork is due for return, patrons must bring it back to the returns desk at Central Library.
