Our Streets, Our Stories, begun in 2014 and ongoing, is a digital collection of oral histories and personal items donated by Brooklyn residents reflecting their lives in the borough. The items, dating from the early 20th century to the present, include: photographs, drawings, programs, advertisements, school records, correspondence, newsletters, T-shirts, business cards and ephemera. The Our Streets, Our Stories oral histories generally run 30 minutes in length and record life in Brooklyn neighborhoods, and local and historical events. Materials in this collection are covered by Creative Commons (CC) license.
