Ayling, who participated in the recent third annual Christmas party of the Ladies Aid Association of St. Mary's Hospital through which $600 was raised to buy a Walton Humidifier, a machine which provides moist, cool air for croop tents, and dresses, suits, and bathrobes for the children in the wards of the hospital. The Ladies Aid Association, with the Medical Social Service Committee of the hospital, is participating in the Women's Division of the 1949 campaign in Brooklyn of the United Hospital Fund and the Visiting Nurse Association of Brooklyn." The event appears to be a tea party.
