Booke, president of the Central Garden Club, inspecting the Botanic Garden greenhouse for plants to be sold at the sale, April 28 and 29, at the Garden's administration building, 1000 Washington Ave. This year's mart, sponsored by the Botanic Garden's Women's Auxiliary and the Kings County Association of Garden Clubs, will feature, among other things, hosue plants, Japanese potted 'Bonsai' trees, cut flower arrangements, orchids, gardening gadgets, flower paintings, gardening books, and a 'Grab-apple tree' for the small fry."
