Caption (0300): "The ground-breaking for the new unit of Israel Zion Hospital. Harry Godoff, chairman of the building committee of the hospital; Norman Dube, 1st vice president of the institution, and Boris Fingerhood, suprintendent, are assisted in the digging by a thousand or more children, all of whom were born in the present Israel Zion buildings. The new unit will add 250 beds to the plant, bringing the grand total up to 700 beds and making the hospital the second largest Jewish hospital in the country, being outranked only by Mt. Sinai in Manhattan. There is another, unidentified man participating in the ceremony.
