  • SummaryCaption: "The vets in Fort Hamilton [Veterans] Hospital were made happy recently when they were presented with gifts from the Esplanade Democratic Club. One of the first to receive a present was Pfc. Ed Moroney. Presenting them were Irving Horowitz and Mrs. Joseph S. Lagana, executive members of the club. There was a cute little nurse on duty at the ceremony, Nancy Naso. The club is working all the time to help vets in the hospital."
