Names of fire fighters clockwise from top center: Vernon A. Richard, Leon Smith, Ronnie L. Henderson ,Andre G. Fletcher, Karl H. Joseph, Shawn E. Powell, Keith A. Glascoe, Yarel Coleman, Gerarde Baptiste, Keithroy M. Maynard, William L. Henry, Vernon P. Cherry. Text on photograph reads, "Photo by Joshua Carp. Women in the 2002 class of quilters, and makers of the historic quilt were: Janet Borda, Barbara Christopher, Sylvia D'Alessandro, Joyce Gaines, Ivy Hassandras [sic], Stephanie Hasandras, Louise James, Sadie Judge, Djmillah Samad, Onia Sims, Susie Smith, rose Taylor, Pamela Thompson, Ila Wheeler, Juhne Wheeler, Precious Gem Wheeler, Patricia White, Joyce Yarbrough."
